Students Participating in Summer Camp in Russia  
 

During August 10-19 2018, 7 students from cooperating teaching of China-Russia participated in Summer Camp in Russia for 10 days. The 7 students are outstanding persons chosen from 3 cooperating teaching majors of Grade 2017. They not only improved their oral practice application ability, but also expanded the knowledge about Russias condition, culture and rail traffic through visiting and studying in Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University. After the students came back, they think they benefit much more. They express theyll study harder in Russian and specialized knowledge, In order that they can study bachelors program in Russia.

 
   Communication with the merSETA  
 

On June 9th, 2018, Dr. Raymond Patel, the CEO of South Africa Manufacturing Engineering and Related Services Sector and Education Authority (the merSETA), came to visit Hunan Railway Professional Technology College. The Chair of College Council Ms. Yao Hefang, Vice President Ms. Zhang Ying and some relevant staff attended to the meeting. The talk proceeded in a friendly atmosphere. Both sides are willing to establish a win-win relationship. We hope the friendship between South Africa and China will last forever.

 
   Meeting with Universities and Colleges of Thailand in Kunming  
 

On June 14th, 2018, the Consulate of the Kingdom of Thailand in Kunming held a conference to deal with the education cooperation between Hunan and Thailand in the area of railway industry. Our President Mr. Fang Xiaobin, Vice President Ms. Shou Heng and the director of International Cooperation Department Ms. Zeng jiangchu have been invited to attend the meeting. The delegates of Thailand are as follows: the Higher Education Committee of Thailand, the Vocational Education Committee of Thailand, 14 universities and 2 vocational colleges. Hunan Railway Professional Technology College and Central South University are the delegates of Hunan. President Fang gave a brief introduction of our college, including our competitive majors and teaching staff construction. The universities and colleges of Thailand were very interested in cooperating with us. We hope both side will achieve substantive cooperation in the near future.

   Counting down 100 days before the 60th anniversary of the college  

 

 

June. 16th, 2011, is the 60th anniversary of the college. On March 9, 2011, the college held a grand ceremony for counting down 100 days before the 60th anniversary of the college.

 
    The College signed the MEMO OF UNDERSTANDING for International education Cooperation with ALAMO COLLEGES  
 

Yao Hefang, President of the College, went to America to make a research and further study for overseas vocational education, and signed a MEMO of teachers & students exchange with the Alamo Colleges in Texas, USA in July 5th, 2011. Therefore, it is mutually agreed as follows: Implementing Agreement, Initiation of Exchange and Terms of Memorandum of Understanding.

 
   The College signed the MEMO OF UNDERSTANDING for International education Cooperation with Douglas COLLEGE  

 

 

Yang Lijun, Vice President of the college, went to Canada to make a research and further study for overseas vocational education and signed a MEMO of Education Cooperation with Douglas College in September 24th, 2011. Both parties wish to enter into a mutually beneficial cooperation agreement to facilitate the broadening of academic, professional and cultural perspectives of students, faculty and administrative staff.

On behalf of the college, Zhong Jianning, Chairman of College Affairs Committee, went to Australia to make a research and further study for overseas vocational education and signed a MEMO of Education Cooperation with TAFE NSW in March 8th, 2011. Both parties commit to a relationship where each will explore and promote areas of mutual interest in vocational education and training; and develop their relationship through a range of mutually beneficial and appropriate education services.
